We have drawn up and published a Code of Ethics for the Rotolito Group and its subsidiaries – a crucial step towards clarifying the rules and regulating our way of working, engaging, administering, protecting and defending what must be assured, safeguarded and upheld.
It might sound trivial, but it’s not: putting one’s own behavioural principles on paper and, more importantly, publicising them so that stakeholders can share and accept them, even at the cost of terminating the relationship in the event of non-compliance, is anything but trivial. But for us, it was a duty.
Our Code of Ethics speaks of governance and ESG concepts and was the outcome of extensive hands-on work by Rotolito’s management, who then elected a legitimate Manager.
We have made it a rule to forward and request that our Code of Ethics be shared with anybody who has dealings with our companies: a clear way of establishing our behavioural expectations in both personal and professional relations.
