Workplace safety is an essential value for all businesses that have embraced the broader definition of Social Responsibility. To this end, our controls are constant and strict, and our focus is primarily on the safety of our workers. In 2022, we invested additional time and resources beyond the legal requirements to more thoroughly analyse the safety levels of our production sites, which led to the implementation of occupational health and safety training, including fire and first aid emergency management roles. As a result, a training plan specific to each production site has been developed, with two authorised in-house trainers placed in charge of implementation (in accordance with Legislative Decree 81/08 and State-Region Agreements). More than 50 training courses on QHSE issues (including 15 on occupational health and safety and ADR (dangerous goods) transport, for a total of 104 hours and 140 workers) were delivered and assessed to check for knowledge transfer.
